FLOODING

Flooding is the setting of the mainland by water events. Floods are generally caused by river water that overflowed into the surrounding environment as a result of the rain that often terjadi.Kekuatan floods can damage homes and knock down trees. Water floods also bring smelling mud that could cover everything after the water receded. Flooding is routine. Every year must have come.
Floods often happen in big cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta and Bandung. Maybe because in big cities like Jakarta and Bandung has a population that large, so as to produce the amount of waste that much every day. In fact, trash is a major cause of floods in Jakarta.
Illegal logging without reforestation, silting up rivers, indiscriminate dumping of garbage into the river, making water channels which are not eligible, making the levees that are less good, are some examples of the causes of frequent flooding.
Flooding can also cause environmental damage, such as, damage to residential areas, difficulty in obtaining clean water, damage to agricultural areas, incidence of diseases andhinder ground transportation.
Some ways we can do to avoid the flood are as follows:
1) No building houses near rivers.2) Not throw garbage in rivers.3) Conduct reforestation.4) refrain from engaging in illegal logging.
