Merapi Disaster




Improving the status of Merapi from "normal active"to "alert" occurred on September 20, 2010. After about a month, on October 21, status changed to "alert" since at 18:00 pm. Due to the increasing activity, all residents of the area within a radius of 10 km from the summit should be evacuated and evacuated to safe areas.
